Rooster Workspace is recruiting a QC team leader for our client in NJ. The Company is establishing an office in Israel and to build a team.

About the Role:
The Company is establishing an office in Central/South of Israel to lead global Quality Control (QC) activities for all of their products. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technical Team Leader to oversee and lead all QC-related activities worldwide. The ideal candidate will develop a comprehensive plan to understand our existing products, procedures, and personnel in the US and China, improve these processes, and hire the appropriate personnel in Israel. 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and Manage QC Procedures: Responsible for all QC procedures necessary to diagnose and inspect all returned products.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Design a protocol to perform detailed examination and determine root cause for all issues. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Service: Develop an effective system to collect, monitor, and analyze customer product reviews from online and social media platforms, reporting findings and recommendations to the management team.
  • Integrate QC Analysis: Implement corrective action plans into our existing database (Salesforce).
  • Prepare High-Level Reports: Reports should reflect trends of current issues as well as resolution status.
  • Support Global Operations: Assist in creating test planning and inspection procedures during assembly and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Product Development: Work closely with Product Development and Engineering teams during the testing and validation of new and existing products.
  • Support Manufacturing Partners: Ensure products are manufactured with the highest quality throughout all stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Monitor Compliance: Ensure manufacturing partners adhere to the Marketing Requirement documents (Product Specification).

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance roles, including hands-on experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electromechanical devices.
  • Experience working with Chinese manufacturers.
  • Experience integrating QC analysis and corrective action plans into databases like Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of various materials, such as metal, plastic, and electronic components.
  • Expertise in quality systems, problem-solving, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Fluent in English (fluency in Chinese is a bonus).
  • Working hours will be a hybrid between Israel and EST hours, to support all parties.
